The Council on Library and Media Technicians will hold its 4oth annual conference in Washington, D.C. June 20-22, 2007.
It is still early for details (and to be truthful there wasn't any on the web site) but the conference will be held at the Wyndem Washington D.C. hotel. According to Jackie Hite, COLT Vice President:
"Our goal for this conference is to provide informative sessions touching on resposibilities support staff have now that we didn't have say - 10 years ago. To that end, we have confirmed a session being presented by Libraries Unlimited who will be introducing a new publication of theirs titled "Crash course in...". They have various topics including storytelling, children's services, technical services, etc. Just what we're looking for."
